Community Service :: Linkous Construction
Linkous Construction is committed to community services and giving back to the Mid-South area it serves with its continuing support of local charitable organizations and community projects. Linkous has donated materials, labor, services and sponsorship for such charities and community projects as:
- St Judes Children's Research Hospital:
Built the Guinness Book of World Records largest ginger bread house
- Habitat for Humanit:
Participated in the construction of eight homes
- MIFA: Renovated Memphis Food Bank
- Baddour Center:
Miscellaneous renovation projects
- Christian Brothers High School: Construction of Service Memorial
- Memphis Literacy Council: Renovated the 2nd floor and installed elevators
- Southwest Community College: Built state-of-the-art day care center for children of parents attending the college
- University of Memphis: Participated in the construction of a fitness center and weight room for the Athletic Department
- Body Scouts of America: Renovation and addition to the Chickasaw Council offices.
- Junior Achievement: Renovations to offices and construction of Exchange City
- Crichton College: Renovations and addition to new campus
- Epilepsy Foundation of West Tennessee: Major sponsor for annual golf tournament
- Young Life Memphis: Major sponsor for annual golf tournament
